I hit a little bit of a block with this one during the color phase, and wasn't happy with my initial pass. Ultimately I think I was struggling with the sketches themselves - I liked them, but I felt I could do better on some of them, so I did some redraws and fixed some pose or anatomy issues here and there, and I'm so glad I did because I love how this turned out and I think the changes I made from the initial sketch to the final make it so much nicer!
they are having a movie night :] The only movie specifically mentioned while discussing the commission was The Breakfast Club, which would be Cherri's favorite movie! I wanted to be sure to include a movie Cherri would like in the sketch. Footloose is a pretty obvious inclusion, how could I not? The rest where just some titles that caught my eye when looking at 80s releases and their VHS covers.
