trying something a little different...different for bugborg draws, anyways, i've used this angular, blocky style a lot before, just not for bugborg art since like...geeze, 2018? 2019? somewhere around there
had a little trouble with getting this one just right. usually when i draw in this style, i go into the sketching with that in mind, so i try to keep my lines and shapes a little more straight and angular to help with the coloring process. i planned on inking this sketch originally, but was having a hard time with it, so i scrapped it and tried something new. ultimately really happy i changed directions with it, but i might revist the lineart sometime in the future because i was liking how part of it came out!
