HK / Silksong AU
Got a severe case of Silksong brainworms and, like I always do, I made Bugborg out of it. By which I mean I turned them into little Silksong buggies for fun and now here we are. I have ideas for and want to doodle the rest of the Guardians as little bugs, and I hope to get to it eventually! Someday...

AU Thoughts
I've had some ideas and stuff kicking around in the noggin', here's some stuff I remember ho hum.
- I used the Mantis Lords, Traitor Lord, and Traitor Lord's daughter from Hollow Knight as my main refs for Mantis's bug design, with a bit of insp from the Green Prince in Silksong
- For Nebula the big ref was Last Judge, but I also used Twelfth Architect, Second Sentinel, and the Fourth Chorus to try and help with the automaton details. It...went okay, I think
- Mantis has a mask like a lot of the bugs in HK/Silksong do. She has a normal buggy face under though
- I imagine Nebula in this AU would be a normal living bug turned automaton, along the lines of the Cogwork Dancers. She wears the cloak to cover the damage to her chest
- Waffled between going flea or snitchfly for Rocket, but ultimately I'm leaning snitchfly, especially since some of my friends also agree... I also like the idea of weaver Gamora, but nothing is set in stone just yet.
- Rocket's game mechanic would be npc-turned-vendor. After an initial encounter where he tries to rob you, he'll turn into a vendor you can bring certain items to and he'll upgrade them to be more dangerous.
